Jews have actively been part in characterizing and shaping the history of Berlin for centuries. After the extensive destruction of Jewish life during the time of the Nazi-regime, Berlin is once again home to long-established Jewish families as well as in-migrants from all over the world. Just as diverse as Berlin is, Jewish life also unfolds in Berlin. The exhibition „L’Chaim – Auf das Leben!“ allows insight into the everyday-life and also into the thoughts and feelings of Jewish citizens, who call Berlin their home and are part of shaping life in the city.
An exhibition of the Kreuzberger Initiative gegen Antisemitismmus.
Monday–Friday 09:00 am - 06:00 pm Abgeordnetenhaus von Berlin, Niederkirchnerstraße 5, 10117 Berlin
